They are excited to boost their growing team with the hiring of an enthusiastic and a talented Account Director. This is an integrated agency with the role covering both medical education and PR accounts.

My client is unique in that they operate a hybrid model for medical accounts- combining content with project management/strategy. This Account Director will have a strong scientific background with extensive experience of working on typical HCP education- stand-alone meetings, symposia, webinars as well as broader stake holder engagement and communications- pharma corporate communications, thought leadership, web site development and patient engagement.
You will therefore be unique in having wide all round medical education as well as broader communications skills and experience of creating content. These can range from slide decks to meeting invitations to speaker briefings for events. You will also flex to less detail heavy content such as social media and patient engagement materials. This is not suitable for a pure medical writer as the client services skills are pertinent- and for the heavier content there is collaboration with external consultants and medical writers.
Our client understands this role is not for everyone. But if you love working on hybrid projects tackling the breadth of the healthcare ecosystem and stake holders- from highly medical to the public and patients- from C-suite communications in pharma to every day medics- you will love this role. Previous medical education or healthcare comms experience needed ideally at Account Director level.
