This is a long established and respected London based medical education agency. With a particularly strong heritage in diabetes – they are leaders in their field but also have a superb track record in other areas including oncology and haematology.
Quality is of meticulous standards and they pride themselves on their reputation for highly scientific and robust communications.
Most of the work is however post launch and targeting a primary care audience- so HCP facing but with room for creativity and promotionally driven in nature.
A lot of the work is meetings heavy so experience in this area is key. A Principal Medical Writer at this agency has a pivotal role beyond content. They will have a strong management and resource function – nurturing talent but also ensuring a healthy working culture including work life balance. They will also play a key strategic role in developing concepts for content and scientific strategy in partnership with clients but also client services and when required, the business development team.
They will play an active role in developing stake holder relations that will impact scientific content including HCPs, KOLs and key players the pharmaceutical industry.
This is a varied role and an agency that places a lot of weight on the Principal Medical Writer so hugely rewarding for anyone looking to scale up their career in scientific services.
As a busy and collaborative London agency hybrid working is critical to maintain that supportive and engaging culture.
